(1) General Safety Tips for Household Electrical Appliances
- 1.To ensure having a safe household environment, you must buy safe household electrical appliances, use them properly and maintain them appropriately.
- 2.Choose and buy electrical appliances from reputable stores. Do not buy electrical appliances which are unbranded or of unknown origin.
- 3.Switch off power if the electrical appliances are not to be used for a long time.
- 4.Check the electrical appliances before use to ensure that they are not damaged, especially when they have not been used for a prolonged period.
- 5.Ensure that the electrical appliances operate in an environment (e.g. temperature and humidity) which meets the requirements specified in the user manual.
- 6.Adhere to the instructions in the user manual in using, cleaning the electrical appliances and arranging regular maintenance for them.
- 7.If abnormal sounds, smell or any sign of overheating, etc. is detected during operation, stop using the electrical appliances and arrange inspection and repair by an experienced technician.
